Dublin Core

Title

Eames Hall, University of Massachusetts Lowell

Description

Constructed in 1948, Eames Hall was one of two new buildings added to the campus of the Lowell Textile Institute as its first dormitories. Along with the Alumni Memorial Library added the following year, these buildings expanded the campus across what is now University Avenue from the school's original buildings, Kitson and Southwick Halls, completed in 1903 as the permanent location for what was then called the Lowell Textile School, established in 1897.
